Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 Rolling Pin

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pizza dough
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 4 oz pepperoni sliced
  • 6 oz sliced muenster cheese
  • 8 oz sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1-2 tbsps dried oregano
  • salt + pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  • Flour your surface and roll the pizza dough into a circle.
  • Brush the dough with the beaten egg. Lightly sprinkle all over with about 1 tbsp oregano, and a couple pinches of salt and pepper.
  • Layer both cheeses, and pepperoni on the dough, leaving about an inch around the edge.
  • Roll up the dough and pinch edges together. Fold the ends underneath.
  • Brush the loaf with remaining egg and lightly sprinkle with oregano and a pinch of pepper.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown on top.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Let your pizza dough sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before rolling.
  • Don't worry if your dough breaks open and some of the cheese begins to come out of the loaf while baking. This happens all the time. There's lots of cheese still in there!
  • If desired, you can serve with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
