My love for food and cooking began at a young age while growing up in a family where gatherings, holidays, celebrations, and even regular ol' Sundays, were always accompanied by SO MUCH GOOD FOOD. My favorite memories are the ones surrounded by family and friends, spending hours around the dinner table, or hovering around the kitchen counter, sharing stories, laughs, and cooking a delicious meal together.

As a wife and a mom to two sweet boys, I now find myself craving those same moments and creating those same memories for my own family. Our dinner time around the table together every night will always be my favorite part of the day. I truly believe that food doesn't have to be fancy or complicated to feel special, your kitchen doesn't need to be pinterest-worthy to make a delicious meal, and the best ingredient, the one you can always taste, is love.
So cliche, I know.  But, it's true.

Other random facts you may want to know: As the only female in our house, I'm completely outnumbered (send help whenever possible!). I crave travel + love a good adventure, just don't ask me to jump off a bridge or out of a plane...or scuba dive for that matter! I could eat any kind of pasta all day every day with no regrets. If Italophile is a real word, that's what I am (lover of all things Italian) and when I'm a retired empty-nester, you'll probably find me on the Amalfi Coast doing Amalfi Coast things. On the rare occasion I find myself with some alone time, I can most likely be found cuddled under a blanket with a glass of pinot noir, a big bowl of buttered popcorn, and a cheesy old-school rom-com on the screen. Are we friends yet??
